The Super7even series moved on to a new venue and the staging of the Premier League Fours Championship. The top eight teams raced in two semi-finals with Leicester, Workington, Ipswich and Somerset progressing to the final.
After the abandonment following the semi final another bumper crowd witnessed an enthralling Final as Ipswich won the first silverware since 1998 and were crowned Premier League Fours Champions for the first time.
