 Fans flocked to the Blunsdon House Hotel to celebrate Swindon Speedway and we were there to capture all the days activities as Clive Fisher interviewed some of the Robins legends of yesteryear including the 4 times World Champion Barry Briggs along with other stars such as Martin Ashby, John Davis, Mike Broadbank, Geoff Bouchard, Mike Keen, Barry Duke and Brian Leonard.

From his early life in the East End, his childhood memories, his involvement in cycle speedway, his early speedway career, his National Service tales in Egypt, his speedway riding career highlights, his promotional career at Rayleigh, Hackney, Crewe, Rye House, Kent and many other tracks, his time as the England team manager career as he became the most successful manager of all time and much,much more!!
Len has received many awards during his life in speedway including an inductee into the Speedway Hall of Fame and the WRSA President and we hear from ex-riders, team managers and promoters who talk about the influence Len has had on their lives.
This has been a labour of love for us to produce as we personally admire this great man as I am certain many of you do as well.
It is a must buy for any speedway fan, young or old!

We were present at The End of Era Banquet witnessed by many former World Champions.
Visit the Twin Towers to soak up the atmosphere for the last time. Fundin, Mauger, Briggs, Moore, Olsen, Lee, Collins, Ermolenko, Jonsson and Hancock were all there as was Dave Lanning to bring alive the memories of the old lady.

Riders featured include Goog Hoskin, Neil Street, Sid Hazzard, Lew Coffin, Len Read, Alf Webster & Jack Geran amoung others. Listen as they recollect their experiences to Speedway Historian Tony Lethbridge and marvel as we take a close look at the machines they rode.

This collectors DVD also includes plenty of cinefilm action from Exeter, Swindon, Poole and Plymouth with narration by Speedway Historian Tony Lethbridge.
